Together with STREET 50 Restaurant & Bar, we organised a simple Valentine’s Day Giveaway and we have received quite a number of submissions that were really romantic. Henceforth, we would like to thank all those whom have participated in the giveaway and to be honest, choosing a winner was a really tough and tedious decision.
After rounds of discussions and having sought the opinions of the representative from STREET 50 Restaurant & Bar, we are very happy to announce that Mr Teo Yee Long is the winner for the Valentine’s Day Giveaway. Mr Teo Yee Long will walk away with SGD$140++ worth of dining vouchers that he can use to surprise his spouse with a 4 Course French Dinner and a Bottle of Sparkling Wine on Valentine’s Day!

This coming 25th March, we will be celebrating our 8th wedding anniversary and I can clearly still recall that the most romantic gesture that I ever did for my wife was during my wedding proposal to her. To prepare for the big occasion, I collected more than 3000 saga seeds over a few months and I hid them inside my wardrobe after arranging them into a nice heart-shape. I then asked my wife [whom then was my girlfriend] to keep my clothes and she got a big surprise when she opened the door to my wardrobe.
8 years have gone by in the blink of an eye and we now have 2 lovely girls whom we treat as our princesses. I really cherish my wife a lot for the sacrifices that she made for our family. She gave up her career so that she can be a good wife and mother; taking good care of our girls and now that our youngest daughter has just started schooling and is gradually becoming more independent, our hardship days are about to be over and we are definitely looking forward to the days when we can start courting each other all over again; just like the good old days before parenthood.
I would like to take this opportunity to say to my lovely wife Joeanne, that I will always love her and cherish her, just like the way we exchanged our marriage vows 8 years ago. Love was, is, and will always be with us in our hearts.
