this would be our last blog entry about our Kelong Trip. If you haven’t read Part 1 and Part 2 yet, be sure to check it out!
Anyways, breakfast was included and for that morning, we had seafood porridge and it was simply delicious.

The Kelong also rear their own fishes [which you can order and bring back to Singapore]. Here, we are watching the process of how the skilled fishermen used just a simple fishing line, bait, and hook, to catch the fish!

The skilled fishermen are extremely skillful! Just watch the video below and you will probably get what I mean!

After catching the fish, they will descale the fish, take out its innards, and cut away its fins; ready to seal it!

While waiting for our boat back to Singapore [thank God it wasn’t the speedboat], both Baby and I took parting shots at the Kelong. Well, will we ever return to a Kelong? Probably yes; to let our children experience what living on a Kelong is like. Fishing enthusiasts might even return for more fishing.
