Our Personal Opinion of Scorpion

The first episode of Scorpion is truly awesome and you can expect lots of drama and action! It is also extremely interesting to note that Scorpion is inspired by a true story about eccentric genius Walter O’Brien, who saved the world several times, hacked into Nasa computers at the age of 13, and has an IQ of 197, way higher than Albert Einstein’s IQ of 165!

“According to Walter O’Brien, he estimated that 70 percent of the pilot’s plot actually occurred, although he predicted that what viewers believe is true probably isn’t and vice versa.”

The pilot [first episode of Scorpion], which airs on 22 September 2014, was directed by Justin Lin, who directed some of the “Fast & Furious” movies and is set to direct the next film in the “Bourne” series. The characters are based on Walter O’Brien and the people he works with, and the writers have changed the names and cities but episodes depict things that happened, Walter O’Brien said.

If you are a television addict whom have the likings for some action and drama based on a true story, Scorpion is a show you must watch! We trust that you will enjoy this show as much as we do!

Synopsis of Scorpion

Scorpion, inspired by a true story, is a high-octane drama about eccentric genius Walter O’Brien and his team of brilliant misfits who comprise the last line of defense against complex, high-tech threats of the modern age. As Homeland Security’s new think tank, O’Brien’s “Scorpion” team includes Toby Curtis, an expert behaviorist who can read anyone; Happy Quinn, a mechanical prodigy; and Sylvester Dodd, a statistics guru.

Pooling their extensive technological knowledge to solve mind-boggling predicaments amazes federal agent Cabe Gallo, who shares a harrowing history with O’Brien. However, while this socially awkward group is comfortable with each other’s humor and quirks, life outside their circle confounds them, so they rely on Paige Dineen, who has a young, gifted son, to translate the world for them. At last, these nerdy masterminds have found the perfect job: a place where they can apply their exceptional brainpower to solve the nation’s crises, while also helping each other learn how to fit in. Justin Lin of The Fast and the Furious directs the pilot episode.

Scorpion premieres on 23 September 2014, Tuesday, at 9:00pm [within 24 hours of the U.S broadcast] on RTL CBS Entertainment HD and you can watch it on SingTel mio TV Channel 318 and StarHub TV Channel 509.

Under The Dome, based on Stephen King’s bestselling novel, tells the story of a small town that is suddenly and inexplicably sealed off from the rest of the world by an enormous transparent dome. It’s been two weeks since the dome descended upon the sleepy town of Chester’s Mill, whose inhabitants are still struggling to survive with resources running low as their search for answers to what the barrier is and where it came from continues. The post-apocalyptic conditions intensify while the residents must decide who to rally behind as new faces emerge and Big Jim continues to battle for the town’s trust and allegiance. With survival hanging in the balance, can the residents of Chester’s Mill work together to protect their uncertain future?

In the season premiere “Heads Will Roll”, Barbie’s fate lies in Big Jim’s hands, and the Dome presents a new threat when it becomes magnetized. Meanwhile, Julia seeks out the help of a stranger to save the life of a mysterious girl who may hold clues to origin of the Dome.

Our Personal Review Of Under The Dome Season 2

Under The Dome has got to be the best sci-fi television drama series to date! To be honest, we were pretty clueless about what we could expect from the show because we haven’t got the chance to read the novel, “Under The Dome”, by Stephen King. Having watched the special recap episode of Under The Dome Season 1 and the first episode of Under The Dome Season 2, we were literally hooked to the show!
