Gourmands will be enticed with the culinary finesse of International Masterchef Arron Huang and award-winning Majestic Restaurant’s Executive Chef Yong Bing Ngen at the Eu Yan Sang Dinner. Through an exquisitely designed menu, both acclaimed chefs will combine their experience in the culinary scene and showcase the exuberant flavours of Eu Yan Sang’s premium herbs and the classical formula “Eu Yan Sang Gold Label Bak Foong Pill”.

With a menu titled, “Modern vs Classical”, Chef Huang’s traditional dishes will feature alongside Chef Yong’s modern interpretations of classical Chinese cuisine. Aligning with the World Gourmet Summit’s theme of “The Classics”, the Eu Yan Sang Dinner vows to immerse diners into a classical Chinese meal that is modern yet traditional, creating a unique experience that should not be missed at this year’s World Gourmet Summit.

The Fried Roast Duck Breast and Shrimp with Chinese Angelica and Licorice certainly whet our appetite as the duck breast meat was sweet and tender to the bite. Coupled with the fresh shrimp and the subtle flavours of the Chinese herbs, this dish made quite an opening statement amongst gourmands.

The nourishing Double-Boiled American Ginseng Soup with Chinese Wolfberry, Whole Conpoy and Fresh Oyster is set to revitalise gourmands. Traditionally, most Chinese households would use dried oysters to boil soup but what was really peculiar about this dish is the use of fresh oyster which made the soup even more flavourful and fulfilling.

Artistically presented, the White Tremella Mushroom Herbal Tea with Eight Treasures is a beautiful and sweet ending to a perfect meal. With such a delightful treat, one serving is never enough and gourmands will find themselves craving for more of this yummy dessert!

Point to Note: The Baked Fish with Wild Gastrodia, Cnidium, and Red Dates that we had during the tasting will be made different for the Eu Yan Sang Dinner as the Chefs will be replacing the Wild Gastrodia, Cnidium, and Red Dates with Notoginseng Root and Astragalus Root.
