Boxup.sg [Official Launch]

If you have read my very first blog entry about Boxup.sg and you have also subscribed to their monthly chocolates, you would be very happy to know that they have just official launched their very 1st box of chocolates.

In fact, while I was on my way out of the house yesterday, I saw the Ta-Q-Bin lorry and I thought they were just delivering the new chairs that my dad ordered. When I came home during the evening, I was pleasantly surprised to see a package lying on my bed. Now, who isn’t excited about receiving a package?!

Upon opening the package, I saw a really sleek-looking box that says, “Sweet Treats”! and boy, was I really in for a treat!

Then, like an excited kid, I opened up the box and viola, a handmade card which says, “Life was [I think it should be is] like a box of chocolates. You never know what you’re gonna get.” appeared. Apparently, the handmade card also contained some tasting notes and information about the chocolates that I was about to unwrap.

Upon wrapping the wrapper, these were the chocolates that came in the box. In total, there were 3 different chocolate bars and 6 tasting squares from different Chocolatiers in United States of America [USA] and Italy.

Now, having read so much about the chocolates that I’ve received, I would like to kindly introduce you to the man behind this idea and why you ought to subscribe to his chocolates.

David, the man behind the idea of a monthly chocolate subscription is a really humble guy with great aspirations. From his first successful startup of a tee-shirt printing shop, he eventually went on to pioneer Boxup.sg, a chocolate subscription service where subscribers will receive chocolates every month.

Now, the idea of a subscription service is not uncommon because we subscribe to mobile phone plans, magazines, and books; but who has ever thought that you could even subscribe to chocolates?

Ok, maybe you say, “But Melvin, chocolates are pretty common and you can get them from major supermarkets or even provision stores. So what’s the point of having chocolates delivered to my home when I can get them on my own?”. Now here’s the exciting part; the chocolates that you’re subscribing to from Boxup.sg are premium chocolates that aren’t available in Singapore and most of the chocolates that you’ll received are made by top Chocolatiers from all over the world!

And what’s the price you pay for a box of chocolates?

Well, for a box of chocolates, it will cost you $25.99 [inclusive of delivery straight to your home/office]! And honestly, it really is a perfect gift for your friends and family members because they will definitely appreciate the nice and thoughtful gesture. What’s more, the festive seasons are coming and if you’re thinking of what gifts to get for your loved ones, why not consider giving them monthly subscription of chocolates?! I bet they will love it!
